One of Mark’s favorites: carne asada with scrambled eggs & cheese @ Boone’s
Wings made here at home, which which became a highlight of our summer here at Canada Garden. We pressure cook (slow cook or oven roast would work too) the wings with a half bottle of Frank’s hot sauce and a stick of butter. Then grill for crispiness. We like Stubb’s sugar free barbeque sauce which can usually be found on the bottom shelf of the barbeque sauces at Wal-Mart.
Poppers. Who said this was a diet?!? We recently met our son’s girlfriend’s parents who brought us beautiful jalapenos from their garden. Filled with cream cheese and cheese and butter and bacon. I didn’t use a recipe, but if you need one hop on over to pinterest and search for low carb poppers and you’ll find a jillion recipes with photos that will make your mouth water. But don’t stay there too long! Get some jalapenos and fixings and make up a batch in your kitchen too
Yeah, we’re so not deprived on this way of eating! I’ll be so happy when everyone knows what grains and sugar have been doing to us. If you’re interested in knowing more about keto, here’s another good website, Ketovangelist.
